Kathmandu: Adarsh Sahakari Sanstha Limited, active in the field of communication in Baglung, has given this year’s Adarsh Special Honor-077 to singer and creator Prakash Saput.
The award was announced on the occasion of the 14th annual general meeting of the cooperative. Saput was given Rs 25,000 in cash by the chief guest of the function, Man Kumari KC and chairperson of the organization Huma Kumari GC.
Singer Supat, who was born in Dhamja, Kathekhola Gaonpalika-3 of Baglung district, has been honored for introducing Baglung through folk songs, said Humakumari GC, chairperson of the cooperative. Singer Saputka’s popular songs like ‘Bolmaya’, ‘Galbandi’, ‘Futeka Chura’, etc.
