Nepathya to Perform Debut Concert in Itahari Stadium on November 4

Legendary Nepali folk-rock band Nepathya is set to perform for the first time in Itahari, Sunsari, marking a historic event for the music scene in Eastern Nepal.

The live concert is scheduled to take place at Itahari Stadium on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. Frontman Amrit Gurung, alongside his band members, will deliver an energetic setlist featuring the band’s most iconic tracks that span over three decades.

Local Management and Decentralized Musical Tourism

Organized by Purwanchal Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., the concert represents a milestone for regional event management. Historically, large-scale arena shows in eastern hubs relied primarily on Kathmandu-based event managers. The initiative by a local organization to independently host a production of this magnitude signals a structural growth in regional entertainment capabilities.

According to Kul Bahadur Karki, Managing Director of Purwanchal Entertainment, the concert has drawn immense interest across Koshi Province. Physical ticket sales have officially concluded, with digital ticket bookings remaining open online to accommodate incoming fans from neighboring districts.

“This concert is designed to do more than just entertain—it is an economic driver aimed at boosting local hospitality, transport, and small business ecosystems through musical tourism,” the organizers stated.

Institutional Support and Security Protocols

The event is held under the patronage of the Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City, with official backing from the Ministry of Tourism, Forests and Environment of Koshi Province.

Security arrangements, traffic routing, gate access, and emergency medical deployment have been coordinated in collaboration with local law enforcement to accommodate the expected large turnout at the stadium. Main sponsorship for the event is led by Suck Energy Drinks.
