Kathmandu: The number of coronavirus infected people in European countries has started rising again. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the number of infected people has started rising again after two months.
The WHO has expressed concern that the next phase of the epidemic could begin when the number of infected people rises again. The organization emphasizes that if the measures taken to prevent the spread of the coronavirus epidemic are ignored, there is a danger of the epidemic spreading again.
Hans Klug, director of the WHO’s Europe regional office, told a news conference on Thursday that the number of infected people in Europe was growing at a rate of 10 per cent.
He also called for strict adherence to the rules of maintaining social distance, wearing masks and using soapy water or sanitizer in European countries. He said the new phase of the epidemic would increase the likelihood of further damage as the Delta variant spreads rapidly.
