July 1 Paris. France has tightened rules on corona virus infection control. The Prime Minister of France, Jean Castex, has said that from next week it will be mandatory to wear a mask not only home or in an enclosed space.
President Emmanuel Macron said the rule would take effect on August 1. Castex said it would be too late to wait until August for the rule, which will take effect next month.
Until now, masks have been mandatory in France only when using public transport and not following physical distances.
According to wikipedia 173,304 people have been found infected with the corona virus in France so far, and more than 30,120 have died.
